The XXVI World Congress of Poets
(WCP) will be celebrated in Ulan Bantor , Mongolia in
August, 2006. The Government of Mongolia supports the
preparations for the 26th WCP in Mongolia in the framework
of the 800th anniversary of the Great Mongolian Empire.
The WCP in Mongolia will focus on "Cleansing the
human heart by poetry, and the research and introduction
of the inner quality of poetry" Dr. G. Mend-Ooyo,
an distinguished Mongolian poet and the founder of the
GUNU poetry magazine, will be appointed as the president
