柯原，原名章恒寿，1931年2月出生，祖籍湖南新晃侗族自治县人，侗族。1946年在天津读书期间，参加民主学生运动，并开始发表作品。1948年到达华北解放区，入华北大学学习，1949年3月参加解放军。著有《一把炒面一把雪》等诗集28 部。为中国诗歌学会理事，中外散文诗研究会会长，国际炎黄文化研究会副会长，获国务院政府特殊津贴。

Ke Yuan was born in 1931 in Hunan Province. The Dong Nationality. The poet began his writing career in 1946. And in 1949, he joined the PLA.
He has published 28 collections of Poems. Members of many poetic associations in China. Winner of the subsidy from the State Council.
