Workshop on Chinese Poetry

Modern Chinese poetry, within a history of nearly a hundred years, presents its either common or unique spectacular vision in Chinese Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao for the different social systems and minds. In order to have a clear review of poetry creation and theory in four Chinese districts across the strait and to promote the development of Chinese poetry, especially its academic research in 21st century, the Modern Chinese Institute of Beijing University and the Chinese Poetry Research Centre of the Capital Normal University co-sponsor a new century international workshop on Chinese poetry in Oct., 2006.
