三百部中英诗集 宏伟的诗学工程

　　为了为了促进中外诗坛的沟通和了解，也为了以诗存史、正本清源，体现出中国现代诗的价值和历史尊严，经著名诗人、出版家傅天虹先生发起策划，新千年伊始，香港银河出版社决定出版《中外现代诗名家集萃》诗学系列丛书（THE WORLD CONTEMPORARY POETRY SERIES），该社请中国诗坛泰斗臧克家先生题签书名，各套丛书主编分别邀请在中外诗坛享有盛誉的诗人、诗评家牛汉、文晓村、李瑛、向明（台湾）、余光中、阿红、邵燕祥、洛夫（加拿大）、犁青（香港）、野曼、绿原、屠岸、张默（台湾）、雁翼、谢冕以及美国女诗人、世界诗人大会会长罗斯玛丽女士等担任顾问，多位诗坛名家分工合作，开始了这项宏大的工程。

　　为了为了保存一份诗的纯净，让诗的本身说话，也让诗人本身说话,成了这套丛书系列作品的一大特色，因为采用了作者自选形式，不加任何评论或附言，此举获得中外诗人们热烈响应，目前已经出版的各套丛书，包括犁青主编的诗世界丛书，张默主编的台湾诗丛，史英主编的新加坡诗丛，吴岸主编的马来西亚诗丛，傅天虹、李智主编的短诗选萃丛书，傅天虹主编的短诗自选集丛书，傅天虹、向明、柯原、纪鹏联合主编的短诗精选丛书、张诗剑主编的龙香诗丛，杨克主编的犀牛诗丛等(屠岸主编的夕照诗丛在筹备中)，总数将达三百部，引起海内外诗坛和学术界的普遍重视。例如最近台湾诗丛50家联合发布会在台北就开得非常成功，诚如《联合报》记者李令仪小姐在次日的报导中所述：（这套诗丛）集合了蓝星、创世纪、现代诗、葡萄园、笠等各诗社诗人，由诗人自选代表性短诗，集结成一人一部的中英对照诗选，不论是诗人阵容、诗坛各诗社的合作，以及编辑效率，都可说是华语世界史无前例的一项诗学工程。

"HE WORLD CONTEMPORARY POETRY SERIES"A GIANT PROJECT OF POETRY

　　To promote a better understanding of Chinese and world contemporary poetry and to embody the value of Chinese contemporary poetry and the historical dignity, publication of "The World Contemporary Poetry Series"has been decided on by Hong Kong Galaxy Publishing House, through the initiation of Mr. Fu Tianhong, the famous poet, publisher. The Publishing House has been granted an inscription by Mr. Zang Kejia, the poetry authority in China. The editors of the series are poets and poetry critics of renown like Niu Han, Wen Xiaocun, Li Ying, Hsiang Ming (Taiwan), Yu Guangzhong, Ah Hong, Shao Yanxiang, Luo Fu (Canada), Li Qing (Hong Kong), Ye Man, Lu Yuan, Tu An, Zhang Mo (Taiwan)Yan Yi, Xie Mian and Ms Rosemary, the Chairperson of World Congress of Poets, as consultant. They and some noted figures in the poetic circle collaborated in the project..

　　To let the poems speak of themselves and to let the poets speak of their own will constitutes one of the features of the Series, in order to preserve the purity of poetry. As the policy of letting the author choose the forms, giving no comments or appendixes has been practiced, a warm response came from the world poets. At present some series have been published, including "Series of the Poetry World"edited by Li Qing, "Taiwan Poetry Series"edited by Zhang Mo, "Singapore Poetry Series"edited by Shi Ying, "Malaysia Poetry Series"edited by Wu Xu, "Short Poems Series"edited by Fu Tianhong and Li Zhi, "Sort Poems Series"edited jointly by Fu Tianhong, Hsiang Ming, Ke Yuan and Ji Peng, "Long Xiang Poetry Series"edited by Zhang Shijian ( the series edited by Yang Ke in editing process), totaling 300 volumes, attracting the attention from the poetic circles and academic world. The recent publication conference on the 50 poetry series held in Taiwan was very successful. Just as was described in the report by Mis Li Lingyi, a correspondent from the "Union Paper" carried on the next day's issue, the Series collected the representative poems by poets from the Blue Star, the Genesis, the Contemporary Poetry, the Grape Garden and the Bamboo Hat. The poets were to select representative poems for themselves and had them translated into English. Judging from either the cast of the poets, or the cooperation between the poets of the poetic circles, or the efficiency of editing it can be said to be an unprecedented poetry project.
