ON THE NIGHT OF "CHINESE
VALENTINE'S DAY"
The Chinese Valentine's
Day is a beautiful legend
Fireflies carrying lanterns were pushing the Cattle
Raiser and the Girl Weaver
Let the wings of a magpie carry the burden of
lovesickness
And fly across the roaring Milky Way that separates
our love
Hence, you and I
met under the shade of sweet
osmanthus
Listening to the whisper of stars
I asked, "Which is your favourite star?"
You answered, "The one that is close to your
favourite."
And I said, "I wish that our eyes are stars
that keep
company forever."
And you smiled, "That would be so nice. They
can
be named as lover stars."
