　　邵燕祥，1933年生於北京。1951年出版第一本诗集《歌唱北京城》。著有《邵燕祥抒情长诗集》、《邵燕祥诗选》、《邵燕祥文抄》（三卷本）等；近年主要从事随笔杂文写作。

　　曾任广播电台和《诗刊》编辑。为中国作家协会和国际笔会（北京中心）成员。

SHAO YANXIANG'S COLLECTION OF SHORT POEMS SELECTED BY HIMSELF

　　Shao Yanxiang was born in 1933 in Beijing. In 1951, he had his first collection of poems (In Eulogy of Beijing City) published. His other works include: "Collection of Lyrical Long Poems by Shao Yanxiang", "Selected Poems by Shao Yanxiang", and "Essays by Shao Yanxiang" (in three volumes). In recent years, he has been engaged mainly in writing essays and casual literary notes.
He was once an editor of a broadcast station and of "Poetry Magazine". He is now a member of the China Writers' Association and PEN (Beijing Center).
