THE WATCH TOWER
The watch tower is like a pile of wild
bird's dung,
Left alone in the wilderness.
The ancient battlements are a pile of gray bricks
and
stones.
The watch tower is like a boat stranded,
or a
wounded animal skinned,
Squatting in the wild, dreaming of howling.
Where are the troops, the drums and the
gongs?
Armour has faded in the sunshine.
Arrowheads have gone rusty with the erosion of the
weather.
Dark clouds chase after each other behind the
dilapidated watch tower.
Archers' minds seem to see through the clouds,
and wouldn't lie down in the clouds.
I want to gallop on the road,
tearing down the shrouds in the wilderness,
And shoot through the coffin cover of the sky…
