LUYU'S COLLECTION OF SHORT POEMS SELECTED BY HIMSELF

Luyu, originally
named Fu Xiaohua, was born in 1959 in Quanzhou.
She has a college degree and in 1978, she moved
to and settled down in Hong Kong. Her works, including
prose selection "Flower", poem selection
"Lips of Red Wing", "Bluc Midnight",
"Selected Poems of Luyu", "Luyu's
Essays" and "Luyu Prose", were selected
in different anthologies of prose and her works
was even cited in dictionaries. Three poems from
her "Selected Poems of Luyu" won a First
Prize while the "Selected Poems of Luyu"
won the second gold prize in the First Dragon Culture
Gold Award. In 1986, she established Milky Way Publishing
House and she is the president of the publishing
house. She also helped to establish a poetry magazine
"Contemporary Poetry" and she is in charge
of printing. She edited "Series of Worldwide
Chinese Literature", "Worldwide Chinese
Poetry". She is the deputy director of "Window
of China", member of Hong Kong Association
of Writers, member of United Association of Writers,
a director of Hong Kong Prose and Poetry Study Association,
one of the founders of Contemporary Poetry Study
Association, a director of Hong Kong Culture and
deputy director and secretary of International Research
Association of Chinese Culture.
